Jessica Simpson (born 10 July 1980 in Albilene, Texas), is an American singer, TV personality, and fashion designer, under the company Jessica Simpson Collection (website) which she launched in 2006 as a show collaboration with Vince Camuto, co-founder of Nine West. She launched her debut studio album, Sweet Kisses, with Columbia Records in 1999. In 2002 she married lead singer of boy band 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey, and starred in MTV's reality show The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica from 2003-2005. The couple divorced in 2006, and Simpson dated Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo from 2007-2009. In 2010 she became engaged to San Francisco 49s tight-end Eric Johnson, and they were married in 2014. The couple has children together. Simpson was a judge on the NBS reality show Fashion Star from 2012 to 2013. Jessica Simpson launched a fragrance company, Dessert Beauty, in 2004, and later her signature fragrance collection with Parlux in 2008. She has a line of hair extesions with HAIRuWEAR.
